Inspectors can easily measure rings and rounds in a range between 1/16” to 18” with a single chuck!

The spring loaded design is self-adjusting and reversible allowing parts to be held by the inside diameter or outside diameter. The three springs can be employed independently or in unison, providing clamping force options ranging approximately from 1.59 to 14.73 pounds. This one-of-a-kind inspection fixture has an overall size of 12.5” across. The clamping jaws are constructed of 303 17-4 PH stainless steel, while the base and guides are Teflon Hard Coated. The Dynamic Wheel is clear anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. 

Companion Mounting Plate (SOLD SEPARATELY)

The Spring-Load Chuck™ is outfitted with four 10-32 mounting holes to be mounted from the bottom. If you need a way to mount your Spring-Load Chuck™, a Base Plate is available.  

Phillips Precision offers a Base Plate designed to mount the Spring-Load Chuck™ onto your CMM or Vision System.

The Base Plate is black anodized aluminum and is equipped with:

• 4 mounting holes for the chuck
• The Loc-N-Load™ feature to load into an inch docking rail
• Additional counterbored slots to mount directly to a table or surface plate
• Large through hole for Vision System applications.
